Our congregation represents very varying views on baptism. Some are convinced that baptism is only for adults and by full immersion. We do have an immersion baptistery in the church which is used regularly throughout the year.
However there are those who are happy to have their babies and infants baptised by sprinkling, and this can be arranged to happen either privately as a family event or, preferably, during the course of our morning service.
A brief course of preparation is necessary for all individuals who are being baptised, or for the parents of children who are brought for baptism. Initially please contact the church office to make an appointment. [01970 617184]
